Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the RightSlope platform, operated by RockAnalytica. By creating an account, you declare that you have read and fully accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

RightSlope is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for rock slope stability analysis: stereonets, kinematic analysis, safety-factor calculation and face-angle optimization, based on structural mapping data uploaded by the user.

2. Professional responsibility — please read carefully

RightSlope is a tool to support professional judgment. Results depend entirely on the quality of the input data and the parameters adopted by the user and are based on established limit-equilibrium methods and kinematic tests, which have their own assumptions and limitations. The results do not replace the analysis, verification and technical responsibility of a legally qualified geotechnical engineer. Design, operational or safety decisions based on the results are the sole responsibility of the user and the project's responsible engineer.

3. Account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration data and for safeguarding your access credentials.
  • The account is personal and non-transferable.
  • We may suspend accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms, abusive use or fraud.

4. Plans and payment

  • The Demo plan is free: it gives access to the example projects, to every analysis on that data and to the export of the corresponding reports. It does not allow creating your own projects.
  • The Basic and Pro plans are monthly subscriptions, charged via Stripe in reais (Brazil) or US dollars (other countries), with automatic renewal. Basic allows creating single slope stability projects; Pro adds pit slope stability projects, with full 360° sector analysis, and the other features listed on the plans page.
  • The feature breakdown of each plan is the one published on the plans page inside the application and may be updated. Any reduction of features in a plan already subscribed to will be notified in advance and will apply from the following cycle.
  • You may switch between Basic and Pro at any time through the payment portal, with the credit or charge prorated on the following invoice. On moving to Basic, pit projects become inaccessible, without deletion of the data.
  • Enterprise is not a subscription that can be purchased through the application: price, scope and term are set in a specific contract, which prevails over these Terms where it provides otherwise.
  • You may cancel at any time through the payment portal; access to the subscribed plan remains until the end of the period already paid. There is no pro-rata refund for periods already started.
  • Prices may be adjusted with prior notice; the adjustment applies from the following cycle.

5. User content

The data and files you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the service. You declare that you have the right to use the data you upload.

6. Acceptable use

  • You may not attempt to bypass access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, overload the infrastructure or access third-party data.
  • Reverse engineering, resale or sublicensing of the platform without authorization is prohibited.

7. Intellectual property

The software, brand, interface and presentation methods of RightSlope are owned by RockAnalytica. The reports generated from your data belong to you.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

We make reasonable commercial efforts to keep the service available, without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for engineering decisions made on the basis of the results (see section 2).

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings ("Delete my account"), which permanently erases your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the consumer user's domicile are elected or, otherwise, those of the jurisdiction of RockAnalytica's registered office.
